Swim
Comments: confident swim. wetsuit was a plus. hardly had to kick at all. What would you do differently?: push a little harder to get below a 2:00 min pace Transition 1
Comments: couldn't done much more to quicken this. sat down to take wetsuit off. ran with shoes on. need to practice mount with shoes clipped in. need to practice mounting bike at speed Bike
Comments: Bike felt some sluggish. Rain was tough. Passed folks on climbs but then got passed on flats What would you do differently?: Pacing is key. Push a little harder. Get a tri bike! Transition 2
Comments: Race bib was jammed under my tire. Helmet and glasses kept falling off stem. Too crowded to get in and make a smooth transition. Was unable to clip out of my shoes for running dismount. What would you do differently?: Clip out of shoes for running dismount. Run
Comments: Passed guy in AG out of T2 but then he passed me halfway through. Maintained consistent pace throughout but can't help wondering if I could've pushed harder. What would you do differently?: Push harder Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Bike setup. Back injury (lower left lumbar and glute), fumbling transitions Last updated: 2014-07-07 12:00 AM
