  • Comments: Great race and close to home. Can't beat that combination. I like the food selection after the race. Very easy to find your finish time after the race. Pretty nifty.

  • Comments: Rev3 and Anderson did a wonderful job with this event. The volunteers were fantastic, the weather was great, and the venue was challenging, beautiful, and unique. Having done races all over the country with numerous race management companies, I maintain that Rev3 is the best out there. They do everything that other companies do – they just do them slightly better than everyone else. In addition to good race amenities (medals, towels, visors, long sleeve t-shirts, and personalized transition areas), they also do logistics well, too. The course was well marked for the Olympic, and it was easy to see where the Olympic and Half courses went separate ways. There are unique challenges with doing two transition races, and they pulled it off in spectacular fashion. The shuttles in the morning to the swim start were easy to get to and ran efficiently, everything ran on time, and the gear bags left at the swim area were in our run transition spots before we came in from the bike course. • Comments: I have to give a shout-out to the volunteers. The Rev3 folks must have gone out and hand-picked the most caring, friendly, and upbeat people in the world to volunteer at this event. The volunteers pretty much made the race, I kid you not. I can't wait to give back and be a super helpful volunteer at Iron Man in Panama City Beach later this month!

  • Comments: Cool race and concept having pros and the SEC collegate championships alongside the regular ag oly and HIm races. Point to point course was reasonable and not a logisitcal nightmare like IM 70.3 Providence was as the transitions were only about 2 miles apart. Really nice homey athmosphere and feel to the race. Was announced this race will be the USAT Long Course Championships next year so now I defintiely have to qualify.

  • Comments: Funny how in the pic on the site and the awards are hot air balloon inspired-there we not any hot air balloons. Last year they were grounded due to wind-this year they didnt even show. Only miscommunication was closing Transition times, and stem sticker. GREAT race GREAT volunteers GREAT staff GREAT awards GREAT course markings-billboards and ground tape. (even with course changes the week of the race) GREAT SWAG

  • Comments: There were a lot of last minute changes to the courses. Especially the run course where the whole thing was changed the day before the race. The four lane road which was really busy was not coned off when i got to it but i got to watch the guy pull up in a van and start throwing cones every where as i road by. No one seemed to know the correct start times for the Oly either or what time T1 closed for us. Lack of coordination Rev3's part. the 70.3 seemed to be pretty well run though, and the busy road appeared to be nicely coned off by the time they all got around to there.

  • Comments: I liked this race a lot. Mostly because I feel such a sense of accomplishment (it being my first Olympic therefore my longest race). I liked that they had live finishing times. The tech guy in me was impressed. :)

  • Comments: This was a good race; the course isn't easy, but that's not really why people do this. I definitely had a good time!

  • Comments: Outstanding race. Cool and overcast temps, but the wind and the hills were a little too much for me. Lessons from race: 1) be more organized in taper down to race, 2) eat light the night before the race and 3) don't eat anything the morning of race. Even though our race didn't start until 9:25, I shouldn't have eaten anything race day morning. I'd have been hungry, but my stomach was bothering me the entire run (which is really uncomfortable) and I'd have been fine without eating.
