Run
Comments: Felt tight but OK, very bright and wished I had a visor, kept gloves on and light hat until mile 2; lost my gloves tucking them away but didn't want to give up any time and go back; kept pushing on the hill-which is 2 tiers, then pushed harder after mile2 over the last hill--took ~60 breaths and then the downhill started and I flew; tried to hold pace and then push pace then hold on What would you do differently?: nothing Post race
Warm down: just sat in the car and tried to get my breath; used my MDI again What limited your ability to perform faster: Zip Event comments: There is no where else to be on Thanksgiving than in Manchester running the road race. It's been a staple in our house for decades. Both kids ran (bandited) and we all talked about our experiences later at home. Love the costumes. A bit chilly but in reality 40-50 degrees is perfect. A new record was set today-nice! Last updated: 2022-11-24 12:00 AM

usual 300 calories 3 hrs prior with coffee/BR stop and long hot shower as it's going to be cold; drove over at 8:30am to get there for 9 and do a warm up run--#3506
parked near Locust St/Park, past the church; dressed warmly to do warmup; first mile ez, then added 30 sec strides x 4 pushing it up to race pace; felt tight but OK; used inhaler as I was wheezy
