Swim
Comments: I stayed at the back of the pack as this was my 1st OWS in a tri. MISTAKE! It was so hard to pass people that were much slower than me. 10 minutes is not good time for me at all. What would you do differently?: Get in the 1st 2 rows. Transition 1
Comments: I was so bloody dizzy from the swim I honestly thought I was going to pass out. I managed to get out ok however but felt bad about myself as everyone was taking off. What would you do differently?: Probably use ear plugs. Bike
Comments: Cursed the big hill the 1st time I did it. Got up to 28.1 mph at one of the hills. I was tired of hearing "On your left". I knocked 20 minutes of my time in this course than I did at a previous tri. Fanbloodytastic. I know it was being clipped in that did it. I even caught myself "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeing" down one of the hills. Transition 2
Comments: I did ok!!! My tieless laces are too bloody small though. Ah you learn so much from your mistakes. I love it. What would you do differently?: New tieless laces....erp. Run
Comments: My downfall is running but you know what. I am pretty proud of myself because I ran 1/2 the route. Before I would have to have walked it. I even managed to pass a couple of people. I pat myself on the back for this one. What would you do differently?: Train more bike/run bricks. Post race
Warm down: PANCAKES! SAUSAGES! APPLE JUICE N A BANANA! Oh I loved this tri SO much!!! One of the best days of the year so far. What limited your ability to perform faster: I am still rather unfit, well not as fit as I would like Event comments: Trifreaks yet again rocks! I was smiling the whole way through this event. It just makes you feel so good and everyone else there is super friendly to you and the yells of "WAY TO GO" stay with you until you pass out at night. Last updated: 2007-07-17 12:00 AM

Met up with Leslie and Luke and a few other people from BT and had a good chat and a laugh with them. Watched the Oly start.
