Comments: I had my shoes by the lake, threw them on fast, ran to bike fast couldnt get my jersey on because the zipper was up zipped, messed me up big time. once i got goin my shoe were not tight enough, so i fixed them up. What would you do differently?: unzip jersey before race! Bike
Comments: uh, where do i start. bad at MTB to start, had a "going flat tire" for a while, had to stop to pump (only like 2 min.) went flat again, but only slowed me down. I fell when this #$%#$%# passed me on a narrow single track in stealth mode, and ran me off trail. I cussed him like any honest southern boy would do, picked up, and kept truckin. I fell one other time in some loose sand that threw me off trail. I cussed the sand the same! My time was slow, but i made it on my borrowed Trek tank 4500 HT. What would you do differently?: Have a bike i didnt borrow, that didnt weigh 100 LBS. buy a bike to suit me. Learn to really ride it! Transition 2

Comments: My legs were suprisingly not too bricked. I used my IPOD, so by the time i got it goin good, my legs were fine. I cruised up to the bridge and just got a burst of energy! I took off like lightning and slowed my pace at the big hill so i didnt kill my legs. I was buirning pretty bad for a while,and my feet started numbing but just kept up, by the time i hit the pavement it was like a treadmill! The rest was just fine, and i just cruised to the finish! What would you do differently?: figure out why my feet go numb when i run?? Post race

Stretching, I planned to swim 100m pre race, but all the udden it was 5 min till race time. The water wa kinda cold at first, but i had no prob breathing, and that was great, so i just FS the whole way with no problems, just had to stop and adjust cap once.
