Comments: I blew up the swim. I had a comfortable beginning pace; however, I reached the person in front of me and passed. Doing this messed up my pace and breathing and I never recovered. I had to stop three time before finishing. What would you do differently?: Maintain my pace and not worry about passing. Transition 1
Comments: After blowing up the swim, I met my rack mates changing into their bike gear and actually beat them out. We all would have been faster except for the wind and cold necessitating additional clothes. What would you do differently?: Not much. I was happy with the transition considering how I felt leaving the pool. Bike
Comments: Very windy and very cold. What would you do differently?: Train more Transition 2
Comments: I got one shoe off before dismounting; however, I couldn't get the second until I dismounted What would you do differently?: Unstrap my shoes earlier Run
Comments: I didn't feel that I was going that slow but it was the first time running after swimming and biking. What would you do differently?: Not much. Post race
Warm down: Had some BBQ, water and finished my sports drink that I had on the bike.
