Swim
Comments: good swim. was a little nervous about the jellyfish sightings they were complaining about but I didn't see a single one. actually drafted a little more than usual which worked well for me. What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 1
Comments: run up to transition was up a paved path. probably 150 yards but the hill was steep. good transition. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: pushed hard on the bike. felt it in my legs but not too much that i felt like i would ruin my run. legs were a little sore but not tired or tight like yesterday What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2
Comments: running with bike was only average as there was a downhill that you dismounted on and then had to run down another. wanted to make sure not to crash like a lot of others did. What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: hot. needed more fluids. started to cramp on the last part of the run, around the last 1/4mile. felt like i pushed well. kept it strong What would you do differently?: only thing i may have done was to bring my hand held fuel belt fluid carrier on the run as there was only one water station at the turnaround. Post race
Warm down: went to eat, change my clothes and pack up.then got my award! What limited your ability to perform faster: nothing Last updated: 2008-07-21 12:00 AM
