Swim
Comments: The crowds tended to be along the bank side so I stayed to the outer bouy to keep from getting kicked. I had problems swimming in a straight line. What would you do differently?: Better navigation, get in a better rhythm to set up pace. Transition 1
Comments: Took a while to get the grass off my feet to slide on socks. What would you do differently?: Move faster! Bike
What would you do differently?: Drink less and spin more. I had a lot left in me and could have pushed harder. Purchase a cycle computer. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Get in and out faster. Nothing else to say. Run
What would you do differently?: Hope my knee is better next time. Post race
Warm down: Nauseous at the end. Walked around for a bit with a cool rag. Drank water and ate a breakfast burrito. Yum! What limited your ability to perform faster: #1 Poor sighting during the swim. #2 Drinking too much on the bike. #3 Not knowing where I was during the bike course. #4 Right knee tweak and was afraid of injury so I kept my pace slow during the run. I could have pushed a lot harder during the run. #5 Faster Transitions. Time Back from Age Leader- 14:57.2 Last updated: 2008-10-13 12:00 AM

Try Andy's Tri
Overcast
Overall Rank = 272/850
Age Group = 35-39
Age Group Rank = 37/73
Being my first Triathlon I tried to keep my routine as normal as possible. I woke up at 4:10 am to change and eat breakfast. Took vitamins and allergy meds. Food: 2 Cups of coffee, oatmeal (.5c oats, rasins, honey, .5c whole milk, .5c water), nutragrain bar pre-race
Check in at 5:50, set up transition area. Walked around area to locate entries and exits. Listened to some music for a while prior to start.
Light jog for 10 minutes.
