  • Comments: This is still my favorite Sprint Tri! Andy and crew do a great job! The volunteers are top notch, Andy makes sure the course is safe and the after race events are really nice, with door prizes and awards.

  • Comments: It was okay. Too many non-competitors in the transition area. The swim was just foul. I don't think I will do this race again b/c it was just so gross. Love the bike and run though.

  • Comments: entered this report months late. Race was good considering getting over knee surgery in late-July. Need to improve the run and get it closer to 6:30s to get on the podium. Good race overall.

  • Comments: What a great race for a first timer. A lot of great volunteers and Andy put's on a first rate event. It was fantastic to get there early and see transition fill up with all the different bikes from 15 year old 10 speeds, mountain bikes, and $12k speedsters. People were very friendly and were more than willing to offer any help. The spectator's area is also set up very well to allow you to see those that have come with you. For those of you who do this race in the future, something I missed was that the shirts were uni-sex sizing, meaning they run a little small so choose your shirt size accordingly. That's not the race's fault, I just didn't know. The 15 year old record got broken this year - 0:42:33.6 - wow! I'll definitely be back next year!

  • Comments: This is the second time I've run Andy's Tri. Both events were well organized from start to finish. Good weather and a fun race makes it great for an end-of-season event.

  • Comments: Nicely done race. Would recommend you start with bronze medalist and then go up to gold, like Olympic events, instead of announcing ag winner first. Finish line could be bigger, but I understand the budget. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out - I volunteered at Towne Lake and have a whole new appreciation for the work you folks do!

  • Comments: This is my favorite race. Andy Stewart does an awesome job and the volunteers are so fantastic! If you haven't done Andy's go ahead and sign up for next year! I finished with better splits than last year in every segment, so I have to be pretty happy with my performance as well. My goal is to finish this race in under an hour. Watch me do it next year!

  • Comments: These guys really know how to put on a race! I met some great people, including several from my home state that were sporting their Alabama colors. The volunteers were fantastic! Thank you so much if you happen to read this and you were a volunteer. I want to follow in your footsteps in the future. I loved watching my two co-workers, Kenan and Andrea, cross the finish line for their first triathlon! This race was definitely a highlight of my whole year!

  • Comments: It was the best time that I'd had in practices. My bike (which felt awful) was actually a really good pace and better than anything I had done in practices. My run was much slower than I should have been able to do when I consider my practice time. The swim was slower than my practices but still decent for me.
