Pre-race routine:

Ate bagel with peanut butter, drank coffee, took shuttle bus over to start line, drank some water and waited.

This went pretty well considering I think my legs were still a bit tired from T-man. I was doing great up until a point at which a man dropped something and didn't realize it. It looked important so I picked it up and caught up to him. This tweeked my hamstring a little and I slowed down for a while to get everything back under control.

I also started to feel a bit fatigued at about mile 11. Most likely because I haven't really been running long lately. I'm glad I got it done and felt good throughout and after.
What would you do differently?:

Not much. I rested as much as I could mentally.
Post race
Warm down:

I walked through the procession and got my water and such. Met up with Fred and ate some breakfast and then chilled on the beach.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Most likely I'm out of running shape, at least for the 13 miles.

Event comments:

This is a good race. No complaints. I like coming down here for this race.
