Knee locked up about 6 times from mile 9-13. Ran easy and never pushed until the last mile. I had a good pacing going without running hard until my knee became sore. I slowed down so much do to my knee my HR even came down at in the later miles. HR should of been in the low 170's about the last 3 miles. I carried my own gel with me mixed with half water and half gel so I can get it down easy in a gel flasks. I followed it down with a little water from the aid stations at mile 3,6,9. What would you do differently?: Train more Post race
Warm down: walk around and watch others finish and talk to family What limited your ability to perform faster: Right knee got very sore and was locking up. Event comments: Post race food was very limited. Columbus Nationwide in Oct. had 10x more stuff to pick from. Also no music at all on the course. Last updated: 2009-04-01 12:00 AM
