Swim
Comments: This was by far the roughest swim start I have ever done. I dislocated my finger early on, had a very large man (I think relays started with us) that I ran into the entire time, I couldn't get away. Plus we caught the 2 waves before us and ran into a lot of traffic. What would you do differently?: Not sure, just got really caught up in the crowd. Transition 1
Comments: One of the best t1's i've ever had - started with shoes on bike. Really good focust this time. 6th fastest t1 for women. What would you do differently?: get the damn suit off my heels - this has been a problem every time I've worn it! Bike
Comments: I was a little dissapointed with my time, I passed a ton of folks and felt great on the bike, except for the blinding finger pain and inablity to shift with that hand! About :30 slower than last year but I felt very confident and had a ton of fun. What would you do differently?: Nothing, this was my best for this year and this time Transition 2
Comments: Also a good transition, I had a long run out which added to my time What would you do differently?: nothing, it felt great Run
Comments: A better time that the last few but still shoes that I have a lot of running work to do. It'll get there. Loved the run & seeing all the folks I trained with a smile (o-k, not really smiling) and doing so well! What would you do differently?: train more Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Finger issues but otherwise it was a great day out there!! Event comments: One of my favorites! Last updated: 2009-04-07 12:00 AM
