  • Comments: This is my hometown race and I really like the venue. I gave it my all and was very proud to get 3rd in my AG. My run was very strong.

  • Comments: I had a really good race. This was an improvement of 4 minutes from last year and a sprint PR for me. I am very proud of 2nd place in my age group. Great way to start the tri season!

  • Comments: Setup Events does a great job managing there events. The only problem I had was that I thought there was going to be a race meeting 15 minutes before and then the national anthem. I never heard any of it but I may have just missed it.

  • Comments: Folks were great -- organizers, national guard, volunteers, spectators & fellow competitors. The course was very nice. I just wanted to finish this race and I did. Gained some knowledge too.

  • Comments: I probably would have liked to see more volunteers. No one was around once I got hurt. I stood for about 10 minutes trying to figure out what to do...and I was right beside T2. Also, I wouldn't start the bike on an uphill. That's just not good.

  • Comments: Virginia Amateur sports really seems to be doing better on their organization. As always, when Set-up Inc. is involved, things go smoothly.
