Comments: This was a hard swim for me. I'm not sure why. Transition 1
Comments: One shoe fell off the clip. I had to stop and get it. What would you do differently?: Practice my mount more. Bike
Comments: I did well on the bike. Set a PR for the split. Averaged 1 mph faster than I've ever done. 1.5 mph faster than last year on the same course. What would you do differently?: Get faster. :-) Transition 2
Comments: I didn't get the watch out of the bike holder to the wrist holder had to carry it in, so I wasn't able to unbuckle the shoes. What would you do differently?: Do the watch after I get back to transition. Run
Comments: This was a brutal run. What would you do differently?: Work on strength and running hills Post race
Warm down: Stretch and recovery drink. Set a PR on this race. Beat last years time by 3:59. What limited your ability to perform faster: Strength in the run. Not tapering due to this really being a training race. Event comments: I love this race. I really like the group that runs it, TBF. I did it last year and I'll do it again next year. Did a run warmup and swim. Skipped the bike due to the baby ice breaker happening at that time.
