Comments: Kept swimming to the right. Stayed on the outside of the main group. What would you do differently?: Will breath on both sides next time. Breathing to the right only seemed to take me offcourse to the right. Transition 1
Comments: The Lake seemed to be MILES away from the transition area. And the run was all uphill. Was winded once I got to the transition area. Had trouble finding the zipper, and then had trouble getting the suit off. What would you do differently?: Start taking off the wetsuit as soon as exiting the water. Bike
Comments: Rode my Hybrid Trek 720. Biked a good race at a solid pace, but kept getting passed by superior bikes. Was able to keep up with some road bikes on the decents, but going uphill and on the flats me and my Trek got crushed. What would you do differently?: GET A ROAD BIKE. Got passed by everyone on the flats. Transition 2
Comments: Took a GU in the transition and donned my water belt. Forgot to take off my bike gloves and had to go back to my bike. What would you do differently?: Maybe not wear the water belt?? Carry a small water bottle? Run
Comments: Very winded. Was able to run the entire way and finished strong. What would you do differently?: Do more Interval Speed training. Post race
Warm down: Walked around eating oranges. What limited your ability to perform faster: Terrible T1! Did not realize I had wasted that much time. Event comments: Great beginners course.
