Comments: It was my first OWS tri. I was afraid that I was going to freak out in the salt water...I don't usually even swim at the beach! The water was calm, though, and I got into a breathing rhythm and was very pleased with the time! Transition 1
Comments: T1 time wasn't recorded. I think it was just under 3:00, according to my watch. What would you do differently?: Practice getting wet suit off. Not lose track of which rack my bike is on! Bike
Comments: My gears were kinda messing up, so I didn't want to change them unless REALLY necessary...made it hard going into the wind. What would you do differently?: Get on the bike more often. Gain confidence Transition 2

Comments: It was getting warm by time I was on the run. Pushed as I could -- knew I could make the race under 1:30 if I pushed it, and I succeeded! What would you do differently?: Train more Post race

Got up at 5:00am. Ate 1 piece of toast, natural peanut butter and 1/2 banana. Got to Breezy Pt. around 6:15. Got set up. Ate 1/2 banana around 7:15am.
Did not really warm up, other than stretching.
