oatmeal for breakfast; drank 2 scoope of accelerade with water during transition setup/waiting on wave; gu about 30 min prior to swim

lousy swim pace wise. Went straight to bouy on way out; wandered some on way back. Got caught in rip last 75 yds or so. Faster than last year.

stay with the pack.

Took it easy in the corners due to slippery roads. Had to remove Oakleys; got wet in the marine layer. Glasses fell out of my pocket upon dismount; cost a couple of extra seconds. Passed a lot of athletes in my age group.
What would you do differently?:

Should not have worn glasses at all; what was I thinking?

Good Lord, I'm a lousy swimmer! Still almost 4 minutes faster than last year. Swim, T1, T2, ans bike all faster than last year. Run was a tad slower. Should not have been.
