Pre-race routine:

Well lets see...
Got lost on the way, arrived approx 15 minutes before my wave started. Ran to registration and then set up my T area in a rush. Ran to the bathroom and got my chip at the pool start. Ran to my lane with about 45 sec to spare. I think that got me pretty warmed up!

Well I think my adrenaline was real high since I was so late and nervous I wasn't going to make it. I started too fast but the rest of the swim went pretty well. First pool swim doing all flip turns, that helped a lot.

Really should have been faster here. Very disappointed with my time. I had a 36min split last race for the same distance, harder course too. >:(

Not sure why I was so slow. I guess I just didn't have it today.

Warm down:

Walked around and then went right to the locker room. Had a wedding shower to get ready for!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Biking was WAY too slow. Not gonna dwell on it, I know what I need to do.

Event comments:

Some of the signage was very confusing. For example, when I was running out of the pool area they didn't have a clear path out and I started going down the path that was leading back into the pool. I turned around and bumped into two other ladies who did the same thing! We all turned around and headed back, the right way.
