Comments: Totally overwhelmed and never quite got my groove on. 1/3 crawl, but couldn't get it going. 2/3 back stroke. Yes I had to do it once the field left. a 2:17 was bettre than I exepected really, but I have to work on the crawl! What would you do differently?: More training in open water. My ranking was low, but for my first ever? Pretty respectable. ![]() Transition 1

Comments: Starting getting my confidence back and after the hill I would say I averaged about 17-19 mph. Clearly a better event than I expected and was very happy. What would you do differently?: Not that much, maybe a handlebar adjustment. Oh yeah and taking that drink that I choked on probably was not a good idea! ![]() Transition 2

How do you do pre race routine on your first Tri ever? I guss that included not sleeping, getting to the race 2 hours early, and praying.
