Got there early and checked in. We were seeded early. Did it as a relay team.

Our swimmer didn't wear her chip on her ankle and had it on her wrist so the mat didn't pick it up going into t1. I estimated her time based on how we were seeded and what we think the transition took.

Needed to switch the chip and run the bike out. Again this time is estimated because the chip wasn't recorded on the mat going into T1.

I was a little slower on the bike then I had hoped. There were a lot of turns and I am not the best at cornering. I got out of the aero bars too often because of that.
What would you do differently?:

I will work on corners or at least pedaling harder out of the corner to pick up speed. I was a little afraid of wiping out or swinging wide and taking out some cones.

Very quick exchange with my relay partner. Great dismount heading into t2.

Nothing. Course marshals were even impressed with my quick dismount and exchange.

My teammate completely tore up the 5k course. Fastest 5k of the day but granted he didn't have to swim or bike beforehand.

First place relay team.

Event comments:

Good race overall. Awards ceremony took a long time to get to because they wanted to wait for the last athletes to finish. This accounted to waiting around for almost 4 hours after finishing and 90% of award winners didn't stick around for the ceremony.
