Swim
Comments: Thank GOD for current and wet suit. I just completely lost all composure during the swim and couldn't catch my breath at all. the last 1/3 of the swim I was able to actually swim moderately relaxed and breathing regularly, but jeeezze it was awful. What would you do differently?: Definitel would get into the water multiple times (open water that is) prior to race and maybe with some folks around to simulate people being close by. Just need more open water practice. Transition 1
Comments: just regaining composure here so I took a little longer deliberately What would you do differently?: not much in this case Bike
Comments: I was very pleased w/my bike on race day. My goal was to complete the course btw 19-22mph and I did just that so I was pleased. What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2
Run
Comments: My best discipline. I felt challenged but never exhausted and just trucked right along. I was a little suprised, actually, that I ran that fast, but I felt good and afterwards was very encouraged as my swim was a little disappointing. This made up for that! What would you do differently?: nuttin' Post race
Warm down: minimal, had to go to my daughter's dance recital so I skidaddled What limited your ability to perform faster: flippin' out in the swim Event comments: Great race, can't wait til next year, Last updated: 2009-05-17 12:00 AM
