Pre-race routine:

Wandered around looking for others from work who were running the event. Only found a few, so no group photo.
Event warmup:

no real warm-up.

Comments:

No fluids during race. Got to starting line late and had to wait nearly 3 minutes before crossing the start line. Spent first mile dodging and passing slow runners and walkers.

Pretty cold morning. Wife and kids were freezing while trying to watch me run. They missed me on the way out as they were in hotel bathroom. Oh well. Family photo during run was blury and at a bit of a distance. Official photo TOO EXPENSIVE.
What would you do differently?:

Screw the pre-race group photo and get a place near the starting line. Group photos are better at the finish line with a beer in hand.

started too far in the back.

Event comments:

Love this race. Plan to do either the half or maybe full next year.
