  • Comments: This is a world class event - I had an absolute blast. Ultra fast course and great atmosphere great post race activities Overall - This is a great time. highly recommend it!!! I'll race any shamrock if I'm available.

  • Comments: Everyting was very organized from packet pick up to the post event. Plenty of friendly volunteers. Great food, the stew was amazing. Didn't have any of the beer. had pretzels, cookie, wqater and 2 bowls of the stew.

  • Comments: i had some friends volunteer.. there weren't allowed to partake in the post race activities.. little irritated over that.. but good other than that

  • Comments: This was the 38th year for this race weekend, and it is run very well. I am not sure how the corrals were set up for this race...lots of walkers ahead of runners. With over 7,0000 registered it was a bit crowded so trying to get around the walkers was tight at times. But it was all in fun. Had I been running for time I think I would have been a little uptight. It was a beautiful day. Usually it's a lot cooler this time of year, so the sun & temp was an added bonus.

  • Comments: parking was an issue and there was no shuttles to distant parking areas. If I could have drug my friends out of bed at 6AM, I would have made them drive and drop me off near the start.

  • Comments: It would have been nice to have one more water station. The second one was a little far away. Looking at the map, it seems ok, but on the course, I felt like the turn-around would have been a good place to have another water stop. I don't like having to walk so much on the sand after the race. That was kind of annoying, especially for people running two days. I really don't want to have sand in my shoes for tomorrow.

  • Comments: this is always a fun weekend for racing, great race organization and great volunteers, although it was a bit cold and windy today it was till a fun race, congrats to Susan for her first 8K, now it's time for bigger and better distances :)

  • Comments: I really enjoyed the race. I almost didn't do it since I have a tri next weekend and a 10k the following weekend and it was cold and windy. But I had no real reason not to and I am glad I did. A much better experience than the last one.

  • Comments: This was part of the "Whale Challenge" -- do the 8k on Saturday and the Marathon on Sunday. This almost felt like cheating, though, since it was such a blast to do (and really, more of a fun run rather than a race).
