Pre-race routine:

Woke up and ate a banana and drank a cup of tea. Drank water bottle as driving to race. All race gear was pre-staged in my truck, which help with morning routine. Had to pay for parking on Lake Lanier Island, would havve thought that my $89 entrance fee would have covered that.

Felt I did alright. Used my mountain bike with road tires. Did not want to invest in a road bike until I tried this race.

Felt the brick the whole way through. Was happy that I ran/jogged the whole cours with no walking.
What would you do differently?:

Run more. Decided to do this race on May 7 and signed up May 8. Did not train before my decision. Enjoyed the race and look forward to doing My Next Tri next year and more triathlons overall.
