this was my first tri swim without a suit so i had to adjust. i personally didn't feel comfortable until half way through the swim
What would you do differently?:

swim without a suit in open water the day before.
so i could have gotten my confidence level a bit higher before attempting to race.

i train in new orleans AKA flat...and this course has tons of hills which i like but i am not use of riding in.
so my bike was also a bit slower than i like

find hill to train on

it was a trail in the woods which was nice but it was very hilly and i was not used of running for long distances up hill so it wore me out much quicker than on flat land.
What would you do differently?:

train harder with inclines
