Comments:

the thing that took the longest was trying to clean the grass, dirt off my feet before putting on my socks and shoes

Get on my bike more than three times in six months, train!!

Post race
Warm down:

Saw Paige and Angela and hung out and waited for the rest of the group to finish. Saw Robin Bostick cross the finish line, she was looking great! Fun to see other BT folks out at a race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not training

Event comments:

This was just a fun race for me since I hadn't done a triathlon since last October and have been so incredibly uninspired to train lately. It made me think I want to sign up for another one!

Course: The Danskin swim is always a tough one to weave through the people since 1900 or more people do the race and there are lots of VERY slow swimmers. It doesn't seem like you ever can really get a rhythm. I would swim, stop look around, make sure I was on track and just kept plugging away. I hadn't been training so I was just shooting to keep on keepin on!

Course: This is a hilly run course on dirt and pretty uneven at points. I ran the first half with the girl that I had played leap frog with on the bike. Her name was Daphne and we chatted until I saw Paige ahead of me on the run, then I sped up, but Daphne passed me about a half mile later.
