Comments: Started slow to make sure my pulled muscle (sartorius) was going to be okay. HR was high anyway due to heat & humidity. Finally, got tired of running slow, so I picked up pace from about 8 on. Finished last 5 miles in probably 36-37 min. What would you do differently?: Not much. I wasn't trying to set a PR, just have fun. I didn't re-injure myself and I got a good hard training run in. Post race
Warm down: Drink lots of water What limited your ability to perform faster: Pulled a quad muscle 3 wks before--no running at all for 2 wks to let it heal. Event comments: Really nicely done.
