Swim
Comments: I think I may have tried to sight too often and as a result I was choking on water quite often. I felt restricted in the wetsuit too. It just wasn't a good swim. What would you do differently?: I am going to start near the back and off to the side in an OWS. I will swim at the local pool with a wetsuit, before racing in it. Transition 1
Comments: After getting out of the water, we had to run uphill in the sand on way to transition area. What would you do differently?: Practice Bike
Comments: This was a difficult bike course for me. Unfortunately, I stopped once to readjust helmet, because it was too tight. What would you do differently?: Do any adjustments before race and do more interval work on bike, as well as hills. Transition 2
Comments: All I remember is that my daughter's jacket was in my transition area and I wondered how it got there. Run
Comments: I had a little bit of low back pain at the start of the run, but was glad to keep running without having to walk. I would get water and gatorade every chance I could. What would you do differently?: Not sure. Post race

Woke up at 5am and had ensure, water and cold coffee. I got my equipment together and drove over to race with family.
After prerace meeting, I did a warm up swim in lake in wetsuit. I felt very restricted in it and it seemed tight around the neck. I had someone help with it and swam a little more.
