Don't loose gel and hydrate a little better.

cool down ride out of Transition back to vehicle.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Event comments:

This was my first triathlon. My goal was to just finish. I did that but I had higher expectations on the swim. I think better positioning myself for the start would have helped a lot. I've swam farther distances in the pool with less effort. Just need to settle down and focus on breathing and gliding on my strokes. Toughen my feet a little better for the pavement. OUCH... The bike portion was fine. I used my road(Training) bike which is better suited for hilly or long climb courses where power is needed. Plus I train on those in the arbuckles where climbs are 10+min each. I'm glad the run was fairly flat as I've struggled on open roads with my pace. The best I can muster is a 8:30 in the gym but on the road the conditions are different could work on turnover and efficiency. We'll see how much better I do in July on the same course!!! See Ya'll then.
