Comments: Managed to swim without losing breathing. Took pace very easy to start. Very tired at end. What would you do differently?: Need to increase training intensity. Plenty of room for improvement. ![]() Transition 1

Comments: Held up behind bike in front running to transition area. What would you do differently?: Could do with a bucket to sit on when switching shoes. Don't wear socks next time? New laces on running shoes. Take off shoes when on bike? Need to practice. ![]() Run
Comments: Calves started cramping at start but managed to run through it. Legs felt very heavy. Very hot, no shade. What would you do differently?: Take a drink with me after transition. Spin at a higher cadence towards end of bike segment to prepare legs for run. Do more speedwork/hills during training. ![]() Post race
