  • Comments: Great race except the obvious need for more water stations (hence the overall rating of 4). Race coordinators were made aware of this from multiple racers. Plan to do it again next year!

  • Comments: First Sprint Triathlon. Pleased with performance - biggest fear was messing up the swim by going out too fast and losing breath.

  • Comments: The best part of the race was hearing the story about Marisa. She had the potential to finish as the top female. But during the swim part she rescued an injured swimmer who was close to drowning because of being kicked. The swimmer just happened to be one of the two friends with whom she came to the race. Her friend recovered and was able to finish the race. In fact,all three of them did the run part together. Marisa finished middle of the pack but in my mind was the real winner and a true hero.

  • Comments: I have nothing to compare this event too since it was my first tri, but I can say it organized, challenging and fun. The volunteers and the Badin community were great and worked very hard for us.

  • Comments: This was the inaugural event and I felt like it was well organized. Seemed to be enough volunteers to get the job done. Would do it again. FEEL GREAT THAT I MADE IT THRU MY FIRST OPEN WATER EVENT. Now I feel like I have some level of confidence to enter other events with OW swims.
