Swim
Comments: Good early season swim. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: The run out of T1 is just over 80 yards and the road is a bit rough What would you do differently?: Run in socks Bike
Comments: The bike is a good place to make up time on other racers. What would you do differently?: Push more Transition 2
Comments: This exchange is my least favorite part of this race What would you do differently?: ummmmm..... Run
Comments: The weather was just warming up so the start of the race was perfect. Not a great runner so this is my limiter. What would you do differently?: Work on running in the off-season. Post race
Warm down: Short jog and light stretches. What limited your ability to perform faster: Running Event comments: This is a great small town race that gets better every year. This race does more to support the racers than most of the big races I have been to. Great emails, super pre-race communication, lots of help on race day, and super raffle. Perhaps my only complaint is that those new to the sport tend to have little to compare their experience to and as a result no know how good a race this is. This race is beginner friendly and goes out of it's way to help first timers. Last updated: 2009-06-25 12:00 AM

Woke up at 5:30 and immediately ate 1/2 bagel and a banana. Sipped on Heed. Light stretching. Arrived a little more than an hour early. Checked in and set up transition. Light warm-up.
4 mile bike ride followed 10 minutes of fartlek type of run.
