Wasn't psyched when I woke up like I normally am. Had trouble getting out of bed. Hit the snooze x2
Event warmup:

No time to warm up. Sign up lines were unbelievably slow and annoying. But that's what I get for always signing up the day of the event. Didn't even have a chance to stretch.

Water was a bit Murky and gross already. probably passed 4 people or so. Got Foot cramps 2x in the pool. Damn that hurts.

It was already getting HOT on the run. Definitely felt some efftects of the heat. Just couldn't muster the speed I thought I had. I have been on vacation/working/&sick the last month, so my fitness went from Very good to very blah.

Event comments:

Overall decent event. Tough course considering the short distance. Check in was WAY to slow. But hey they're volunteers. Did Ok in my age group, I guess, but disappointed that I've lost my high fitness from 1 month ago. On the bright side my legs (achilles) have been 100% healthy since putting in heel lifts a while back (1 year? not sure).
