  • Comments: Truly enjoy this race every year. They do a great job at supporting it and being prepared for it. It is always hot in June so they know that and have plenty of people. The club does a good job. If you need a good sprint to challenge you with a great climb on the course this is it.

  • Overall course based on my ability: Too easy

  • Comments: Course map wasn't finalized until the day before the race. Course was not well marked. Lots of drink stations seemed to be set up at random distances on the course. I think my biggest issue was not studying the course map more. Next time it will definitely be a bigger priority for me.

  • Comments: Overall decent event. Tough course considering the short distance. Check in was WAY to slow. But hey they're volunteers. Did Ok in my age group, I guess, but disappointed that I've lost my high fitness from 1 month ago. On the bright side my legs (achilles) have been 100% healthy since putting in heel lifts a while back (1 year? not sure).

  • Comments: Fun tough race. My Transition times were actually better than usual I think: Run to Bike (T1) = 1:40, Bike to Swim (T2) = 2:32. To bad it doesn't count for anything though. I spoke with the RD Bob Vincent about my mistake and told him I should be DQ'd. He said the 'times' were already submitted and unless I won an award not to worry about it. Of course I DID NOT win an award. And my time will reflect 1hr 12min but that is incorrect! So I OFFICIALLY DQ MYSELF! :)
