Comments:

Took less time to feel comfortable in the water and to find my place and speed. Felt like I sped up a bit towards the end of the swim.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bad running. Otherwise, good. Rain didn't help but it wasn't bad, especially while riding.

Event comments:

Much smaller than the ones I've done before. About 450 entrants in the sprint distance. Swim waves were mostly segregated by sex and were 10 minutes apart, which was excellent. Excellent buoys. Good organization. Free ice cream.

Course: Through Taughonock (sp?) State Park on trial to bottom of falls and back. Slight uphill most of the way to the falls. Usually under the cover of trees. Falls are beautiful. Rained fairly hard the entire time I was running.
