What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of quality work and time off for the three weeks prior to race due to shin injury. That said, I was able to hold a decent pace and didn't feel any twinges from the shin until about mile six. At that point I could feel the leg but the discomfort was managable.

Event comments:

Fun but Expensive half marathon. The wave starts this year really helped to open the course up. Right from the get go we went out and were up to pace within a mile.
