Swim
Comments: the swim was my worst- I was shivering atthe start- and was jostled around quite a bit at the begging. The rain made it hard to see- I know I was slow out of the water What would you do differently?: try to stay warmer at the start and get out of the pack faster Transition 1
Comments: bike is too big- so I have a hard time jumping on- overall really tried to cut down transistion times and felt pretty good considering the weather Bike
Comments: Bike was nasty from the start- no computer threw me- the road was very wet- the turns were narrow. Never felt in the groove. Transition 2
Comments: Someone had taken my spot on the rack- had no spot left- overall was ok considering it was still pouring Run
Comments: totally bonked- had no pace on the bike, got to the run, was cold and uncomfortable. Got a ton of stitches- run was nightmare- i missed the cheering What would you do differently?: all of it Post race
Warm down: warm warm warm- What limited your ability to perform faster: cold, sat around at start way too long Event comments: I just didn't like the course- I realized that I mentally feed offthe positive vibes of the crowd. I'm sure that the weather kept alot of people away too- I realized that for me, the louder the better, I don't like feeling all alone Average Heart rate: 177 Max Heart Rate: 24:57 1172 total calories Last updated: 2009-08-04 12:00 AM
