Pre-race routine:

Went for a quick dip in the water.

Comments:

Overall the swim went very well. I was happy how quickly I finished both laps. I am amazed at how quickly time went by on the first lap. The swim was a little physical which was new to me. It was good practice for the swim at LP.
What would you do differently?:

Tried to focus on the pull with my lats.

Thought I did well in transition. I was shocked at how fast I was able to get my wetsuit off.
What would you do differently?:

I didn't put my helmet on while taking off the wetsuit. Plus I wasn't as efficient in the order of things to put on.

The race course indicated they would offer water at the bottle exchange. So I planned on it and made a bottle of double dose. Well, no water was offered and could barely drink on the second loop.
What would you do differently?:

Not planned on using what the course offered.

Had a good run and was smart about drinking enough b/c I did not have enough on the bike. Also, was able to eat food while running which helped a lot. Donuts were my savior and helped give me the boost I needed to get through the run. Legs started to burn toward the end of my quads near knees. I realized I will probably have to build that strength during the off season.
What would you do differently?:

Ate more earlier on the run.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around a little with friends and family. Also, took a dip in the cool lake, which felt terrific.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of water on the bike, which prohibbited me from getting all of the nutrition I was planning on having throughout the day. Thankfully, I was able to regain the calories while on the run.

Event comments:

Not enough life guards compared to other races, no water was offered at the bottle exchange on the bike course, water on the run course tasted terrible, cheap finishers medal. In addition there was nothing for all of the spectators. No food was sold for them to eat. Not a spectator friendly race unless you bring your own grill and tent.
