Pre-race routine:

Stayed up in Santa Fe the night before, so as to take 1 hour off the drive in the morning. Drove up, got registered. Looked over the new run course.

My arms felt pretty weak during the swim. I just took it easy throughout the event.

I felt pretty good about this leg. I wanted to break 40m on this hilly course.

Oh yeah - chain fell off just before the turn around. bummer, but got it back on and lost about 30 sec total (getting back up to speed and all)
