Comments:

Had issues getting comfortable breathing in the water. First time in a long time I panicked while in the water. Ended up doing more back stroke and side stroke than freestyle.
What would you do differently?:

Do a warm up swim to get used to the water

Did better in T1 one this time than my first tri. Was able to run out with the bike. Felt much better getting in and out of T1.

There were a lot of sharp corners on the race course. Not really comfortable taking sharp corners at speed yet. Almost lost control on one 90 degree turn. Hills felt great did a good job of finding the right gear for the climb and just mashing gears. Made up a lot of time lost on the swim during the bike. Passed quite a few people and didn't get passed once.
What would you do differently?:

Work on cornering.

Lost race belt right out of T1. Spent part of mile 1 getting it back together. Legs felt slightly tired after bike, but still were pretty good. Didn't drink water on run, didn't feel like i needed it. Was surprised with time, I felt like I was running slower than I was.

Very well done race. Will do again. Was happy with my performance wanted to come in around 1hr 30 minutes and did much better than that.
