Comments: Very cold morning so just hung out in convention center. Did some stretching, checked bag, bathroom visit. Wore tights, light gloves, dri fit cap, dri fit long sleeve and gray top. Could have worn less on top. Started with the 3:45 mary pacing group and ran first 3 miles in 25:00. 10K split was 51:56. Then I slowed to 9 min plus per mile. Legs and left foot were hurting at mile 11.5. Still had enough gas to sprint in last 500 yards. What would you do differently?: Need a better shoe fit. Post race
Warm down: Walked 10 min. some stretching, water, Powerade. What limited your ability to perform faster: Went out too fast for first 7 miles.
