  • Comments: Overall good race...convention center bailed on them at the last minute so porta-potties were scarce at the beginning. Bag pick-up after the race could have been better organized!

  • Comments: I think Ive only ran a couple dozen races but of those this is my all time favorite running race and third overall favorite (behind Beach to Battleship and White Lake HIM races).

  • Comments: I LOVE this race. This race tops my list as the most FUN race ever and I hope to do it every year. The course is great, the spectator support is awesome, and the Expo is one of the best I've ever been to. And for some reason, the actual running of this race is just happy and fun and makes you feel good inside. Update: Oh no! Just saw that next year's date is moved to mid-November! We're still wrapping up triathlon season in November. I will not be able to do this race next year for sure, and likely not ever again depending on when B2B falls. VERY disappointing indeed.

  • Comments: It was a little chaotic at the finish line. will need to coordinate better with friends and family to set up a meeting place after the race. I loved the race, the time of year isn't so great. I couldn't get anything done for Christmas until this was over, so I wasn't very ready for the holidays.

  • Comments: Overall a well organized, fun race with lots of cheering spectators. They had 2 live bands near the finish line but given the cold, cloudy day not many people stuck around afterwards.

  • Comments: I will definitely run this race again, as long as its not raining. I can't imagine how bad it would be to be cold AND wet.

  • Comments: This was a super FUN RACE! It's hilly, but suprisingly doable. Beautiful route and lots of spectator support. If it fits my schedule, I may do the full marathon next year!

  • Comments: This was a good race. It was cold, but I run much better in the cold. The colder it is the faster I seem to be able to run.

  • Comments: They need to make the post race runners are wider... just too narrow to allow people to move, resulting in a pile up right after the finish line.

  • Comments: I doubt I would travel to Charlotte again to do this race - but it was a really fun day. I loved having so many hotel options right near start and finish. The finish area was one of the best I've ever seen. Even had the restaurant Noodles there, giving out freebies. The lamest part: shirts. I would have paid a few more bucks to get a technical shirt that I would actually wear. Trade in the medal and the crap we were given, add $5 per entry - and you're there!
