Swim
Comments: should have drafted off of a swimmer of similar ability instead I used allot of energy passing him about 1/3 of the into swim. He drafted off me until the last lap and then blew by. What would you do differently?: draft if the opportunity presents itself. Train for swimming more. Transition 1
Comments: Transition went well between run and bike. Bike
Comments: I got a sore muscle in my right thigh right after transition and had a hard time getting it worked out. Don't know if it was cramps or what, but it did affect my overall performance in the bike a little. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Felt good. Could have ushed myself a little more but not much. Post race
Event comments: The only problem I saw was that there were no more volunteers to give instructions to the last cyclists that came into transition. Myself and another person. Had to help out a few of the last women cyclists so they new where to go next. It is not good to abandon the transition areas prior to the last athlete coming in. Last updated: 2009-09-08 12:00 AM

Ran around the field a few times to get legs warmed up, stretched out, used the rest room.
