I changed into shoes casually and talked to other BTers b/c i'm just a cool cat like that. Once i got going though i sprinted past everyone and lept onto the bike and took off passing all present.
What would you do differently?:

Not be a chatty cathy.

I loved it. Passed everyone i saw (horrible swim seed has its perks) and duelled one guy for the WHOLE time and finally beat him with 1 mile to go.
What would you do differently?:

I'm a cyclist. Um, smash more faces in? Realistically I did no training for this so I should be far faster in the future.

Just like the mount i champed this out pretty well. I just have my shoes from my old road/track days so i can't do the whole spiffy tri-shoes thing. They have a ratchet for crying out loud.

Dead on run. Didn't overdo it on bike, just no training (ran ONCE the week before) led to drain. Walked about one third of it.
