Swim
Comments: Pretty good overall, considering it was the first with the wetsuit. Need to focus on sighting a little better without stopping. What would you do differently?: Need to focus on sighting a little better without stopping. Transition 1
Comments: Went down the wrong row to find my bike, but didn't take long to finally find it. Shoes, helmet, glasses went on fast. What would you do differently?: Find my bike without wandering around like an idiot. Bike
Comments: Overall, it felt pretty good. Started to tire at the end a little, but it is what it is. What would you do differently?: Need to work on overall cycling posture and strength. This will make a big difference I think. Transition 2
Comments: I was taking this one a little slow to try to get my legs under me. And they STILL felt like Jello. What would you do differently?: I plan to work on this by doing more (any) bricks. I need to start to feel how to push out that weird feeling so that I can run a little faster on the front half and not spend too much time in T2. Run
Comments: Big improvement over last year, but still a ways to go on this. I think at least 3 girls in my age group passed me here, which kicked me off the podium (ok, not kicked me off because that's pipe dream, but a faster run would really help me) What would you do differently?: I'm happy with my performance, but need to do some speed work and get my running in better shape still. Post race
Warm down: Chill out and drink some gatorade. Got a massage and walked around a bit to shake it all off. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing really. I know I can still improve, which is what's important. Event comments: Overall, this was again a great race by Set-up. Looking forward to Kinetic in a couple weeks! Last updated: 2010-01-05 12:00 AM
