Pre-race routine:

Not much...just woke up about 3 hours before race start and packed up the car. Had a bagel with peanut butter and a diet coke. Drank lots of water on the 30 min drive. Set up my transition area and tried to stay warm! It was below 50 degrees

Did a little running to warm up the legs a bit and then did a bunch of stretching

Swim went great! ONly had to pass one person and nobody passed me :) Couldn't have felt better about the swim
What would you do differently?:

Nothing...felt great. Will have to increase my training to do longer distances.

This is where things went real bad! With about 300 yards to go, I took a pretty hard crash. Got up and assessed the bike and it found that my chain had come off. Decided to remove my bike shoes and walk/run the bike in. I think I could have cut about 5 minutes off of this time, if I would have stayed on my bike :/

Run felt GREAT! I should crash more often. This is my best run time in a Spring Tri and I know feel like I'm getting my running legs back a bit. I think I could have pushed a bit more!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

CRASH!! I think I could have placed top 6-8 in Novice Category without the crash....maybe next time.
