Swim
Comments: The swim felt good. I have been training a lot, and I was much improved from last year -- at least 4 minutes. The official time inlcudes the walk to transition. I was actually in the water for 17:10 (1.94 per 100). The only time I ran into trouble was the return to shore. The sun was in our eyes and it was hard to sight the finish. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: I am very slow at transition. This could be a major area of improvement. Bike
Comments: The bike felt fine, although I was about 2 mintes slower than last year. I have been training on the course since early May. What would you do differently?: I could certainy improve my time on the bike with more training. Transition 2
Comments: Another slow transition. Forgot to put sunscreen on and went back. Run
Comments: Run felt fine. I had run the course twice before the race, and I did not have to walk on the hill. Oddly, although I felt more comfortable, I was about 3 minutes slower than last year. What would you do differently?: Not much. Post race
