Short run with John Davis (fattyfatat)...
Swim
  • 34m 29s
  • 1500 meters
  • 02m 18s / 100 meters
Comments:

Toughest and/or slowest swim in my 3 year Tri experience...regardless of distance and condition.

12/40 in AG
What would you do differently?:

Swim better! HA!
Transition 1
  • 02m 12s
Comments:

2/40 in T1... ran strong alll the way from swim exit.

Wetsuit Strippers... did good except I had on my garmin quicj release wrist band and it got hung on wetsuit...

But overall... Great T1
What would you do differently?:

Not wear Garmin thingy...
Bike
  • 1h 13m 41s
  • 24.85 miles
  • 20.24 mile/hr
Comments:

New race wheel set-up... felt great! Goal was to hold 225 watts. Couldn't seem to get there & hold it! Not my best ride, but I'll take it!

13/39 in AG (dropped a fellow AG'er after swim)
What would you do differently?:

Push Harder, hold the goal wattage and suffer a bit more....maybe!
Transition 2
  • 01m 6s
Comments:

Good T2... 10/38 in AG.
What would you do differently?:

hustle a bit more...
Run
  • 44m 41s
  • 6.2 miles
  • 07m 13s  min/mile
Comments:

Very happy with this effort. Sockless in the shoes went good - no blisters, or uncomfaortable spots in the shoes like training runs!

PR'd my previous Olympic Distance Tri Run by almost 2 minutes! Missed my 10K pr by almost 2 minutes though :(

6/37 in AG (dropped another AG'er after the bike)
What would you do differently?:

push just a touch harder! Hold closer to 7:00 pace.
Post race
Warm down:

nada... unless you count two slices of cheese pizza, a couple ice cold beers and hanging out with some good friends!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The damn swim!

Event comments:

Great event by ON UR Mark... way to go Aaron & Ben! Got to meet (shake hands) with Matty Reed & Andy Potts! They are super cool 'normal' guys! Skinny though! Matty Reed is TALL!! and Andy looks much bigger (more muscular) on TV! HA!
