  • 01m 49s / 100 yards
Comments:

This was my best swim ever in this race.. it would have been faster.. i got caught behind a cluster.. a guys started scissor kicking..
What would you do differently?:

i had some juice left in the tank.. turn it up last 150

  • 01m 52s
Comments:

the racks where really close.. it was hard to stage my area.. like i normally would..
What would you do differently?:

get there earlier.. or better navigate through stuff..

practice. leaving shoes on pedals
Bike
  • 31m 40s
  • 10 miles
  • 18.95 mile/hr
Comments:

things were good.. Better than expected.. considering i've only ridden outside 2 or 3 times.. the wind made hard.. quads were on fire...

could get a rhythm on the rollers.. i was chasing the girls with paris hilton glasses on..lol
What would you do differently?:

ride more... i know im faster than this..
Transition 2
  • 02m 14s
Comments:

it sucked because.. it was muddy..slipping and sliding.. racked bike ok..wasted time with socks.. . dranks some more fluid, i cramped bad last year at this point..
What would you do differently?:

set area up better
Run
  • 30m 47s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 09m 54s  min/mile
Comments:

My legs were smoked after the bike.. good things for muscle memory.. leg began feeling ok after 1.5 mile mark.. got into a groove.. and picked up place... i felt all the small incline changes... I didnt have enough power to turn it up at the end..
What would you do differently?:

train more.. do more speed work..i can run a sub 24 min 5k.. i know because ive done it.. but can't complain..
Post race
Warm down:

walked around stretched and talked with folk... ollie, shane, marilyn, and a few other i met on the course...

had some great post race beverage.. thank wyn.. you da man..

What limited your ability to perform faster:

weather and lack of short race work.. prepping for HIM..

Event comments:
