Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 6am at the hotel. Had a breakfast of two bagels with PB and some yogurt. Wased down with 1 cup of coffee and a sports drink.

Comments:

A lot of people in the race lied about their swim times. I sent in 2min/100 pace and that was pretty much what I swam. I had to pass 4 people. One in the 1st 100. Overall, I am happy with my swim time; right on pace :)
What would you do differently?:

Lower my tswim time a little bit.

T1 took a little longer than I wanted but with the muddy transition area, it was ok.

Oragnize my trans area a little better.

I did the bike much faster than i expected. I wanted to do the 10 miles in under 40 minutes. for me 34 minutes is great!
What would you do differently?:

Nothing except maybe set hared goals but since this is my first tri, I couldn't be happier.

Warm down:

Walked around with the wife. Watched some other finishers. Drank some water and gator-aid.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing that I know of....maybe the headwind on the bike?

Event comments:

This is a great race for a first-timer. Everyone is so nice. The ability of the athletes covers every demographic. It was a great time!
